This course is designed to help customers implement Workday Recruiting and serves as the baseline training for consultants seeking Workday Recruiting Certification. In this course, you will learn about the features and functionality of Recruiting, how to configure Recruiting, and how to use Recruiting.
During the course of this training, students would learn how to manage the entire recruiting life-cycle in one system, including workforce planning, sourcing, and advanced talent analytics, attract top talent with a consistent and engaging candidate experience from outreach to on-boarding as well as learn how to streamline the recruiting process by enabling transparency and collaboration across the entire hiring team. Workday Recruiting training will help our learners improve the way they work—on the go, collaboratively, and in real time—and help in improving employee engagement and user adoption. Trainees would also get familiarized with configuration of the tenant for recruiting functionality and assigning ad-hoc roles to job requisitions.
Students would be taught how to recognize definitions of recruiting terms, configure recruiting setup tables, configure the tenant for recruiting, create a job requisition, create job posting templates, manage job postings, create career sites, configure the dynamic recruiting business process, configure the referral business process and interpret recruiting reports.
Questionnaires and Job Requisitions
Trainees would learn how to create questions and questionnaires, attach a questionnaire to a job requisition, create and copy a job requisition, edit a job requisition, freeze and unfreeze a job requisition, and close a job requisition.
Job Postings, Career Site and Job Applications:
Students would be taught various concepts inclusive of posting and unposting a job, describing the automatically post jobs feature, updating a job posting, creating a job posting template, configuration of an internal career site, maintaining recruiting sources, configuring external career sites, applying to job requisitions and maintaining job posting sites.
Recruiting Sub-processes
Trainees would be taught the configuration of review business process, screen business process, assessment business process, recruiting assessment statuses and tests, interview business process, feedback, reference check business process, offer business process, employee agreement business process, generate an offer document, background check and the ready for hire business process.
The Job Application Business Process, Prospects and Candidates
Students would have access to learning in-depth about the description of the job application dynamic business process, definition of the initiator role in the job application business process security policies, definition of recruiting dispositions, configuration of the job application business process, addition of a notification to the job application business process, addition of condition rules, configuration of step label overrides, dynamic action labels. They would also learn how to define prospect types and statuses, create an external and an internal prospect, convert a prospect to a candidate and create a job application.
Staffing Transactions, Evergreen Requisitions and Recruiter Experience
Students would learn about configuring the tenant for referrals, defining referral relationships, creating a referral and sharing a job. They would also learn how to create an evergreen requisition, apply to an evergreen requisition and manage evergreen requisitions. Gaining the recruiter experience consists of sourcing candidates, creation of a candidate pool, management of the candidate list, management of the inbox as well as management of duplicate candidates and worker records.
