Introduction
Workday Adaptive Planning training lets workday consultants gain expertise in headcount planning, financial planning, workforce planning, and advanced modeling. This training enables trainees to approve plans, publish it and make it available in Workday HCM and Financials so that the downstream users can use that data. The Workday and Adaptive Planning profiles automatically get synced in Workday. Students would learn how to use a Workday worklet, through IdP provider, or directly to Adaptive Planning if they're an administrator.
Core Adaptive Planning
Elaborate training is provided to our trainees on performing basic system navigation, building supervisory organizations, compare staffing models, creating job profiles, configuring core compensation components, explaining key security concepts, defining and managing business processes, explaining the benefits of self-service functionality and running delivered reports and configuring basic custom reports.
Setting up and Configuration
Students would be taught how to use security groups and the access adaptive planning domain to automatically add the adaptive planning worklet to the home page and learn how to to sign in to Adaptive Planning. As a security administrator, students would learn how to perform functions like creation of a user-based security group, viewing and modifying access and adding this security group to the access adaptive planning domain.
Planning
Learners would acquire knowledge on how workday planning helps in measuring the health of the organization and plan for the future in strategic ways. With planning, they would be able to create baseline plans for financials and headcount and then use worksheets to collaborate on live data, model and analyze the data to determine next steps as well as update and iterate the plan, creating forecasts that meet the changing landscapes.
Planning Process Overview
To meet an organization's goals, trainees would learn to hire the right talent in the right place to achieve success. This course provides visibility into this data to help them understand their current workforce and plan for future needs inclusive of current headcount in various modules like talent, recruiting. employee compensation and other transactional elements.
Planning Setup
Students would learn how to set up security to determine on the creation and editing of headcount plans, creation and editing of financial plans, creation and editing statistic plans as well as viewing and analyzing plan data.
Plan Structures
Students would learn the concept of headcount planning, in which the plan structure is the foundation upon which they can build their headcount plan. They would learn to define the rules of the applicable dimensions that they want on the plan. They would also gain knowledge on setting the organizing dimension type to guide security, maintenance of entry types tasks, and security set up of headcount planning domain in the planning functional area.
Plan Generation
Generation of plan involves making changes to existing criteria, such as to add or remove plan periods without creating a new target plan. Students would also learn how to make changes for both financial and headcount plans as long as they are in Draft or In Worksheets status. Concepts regarding security set up along with planning domain in the planning functional area and existing plan generator profile for financial or headcount plans would be taught comprehensively.
